Details
The Qatar Embassy located in Brussels is already an iconic building when it comes to natural stones supply. This project required the supply of thick limestone for pretty much every visible application on exterior use, but in particular for interior use. This small scale palace involved the supply of Moca Cream limestone for all the exterior cladding works, including columns on the outer wall and other specific items.
As for interiors, the use of this beige limestone was extensive. The wonderful Moca Cream limestone was used on all flooring and wall covering applications, columns and diverse stonework, staircases, and more. Essentially the limestone covered every single visible area within the main areas of the building (main hall, entrance, as well as several interior rooms). This project shows an impressive use of limestone that was mostly used with considerable thickness.
