Perlato

BACKGROUND

The Perlato is a darker grey limestone, which presents a medium grain structure, strong signs of fossils and calcite. It shows a fairly regular grey color, which tends towards the darker color tone. It may present some brownish colored areas. Its main variations will depend on the amount of fossils and calcite, as well as color tone variation and uniformity.

RECOMMENDED USE

The Perlato limestone is commonly found on both interior and exterior applications, it is considered a very versatile limestone. There are numerous examples of the Perlato limestone used on exterior cladding, interior and exterior flooring, diverse stonework, masonry, landscaping and more.
