Ataija Beige

BACKGROUND

The Ataija Beige is a beige / creamy colored limestone, presenting a fine grain, uniform background and consistent beige color. It may show some occasional brownish lines as well as calcite. Its main variations would show a blue/grey color as well as a mixed beige and grey colors.

The Ataija is perhaps the hardest limestone extracted in Portugal, being a reference limestone in markets such as France, Luxembourg or Germany.

RECOMMENDED USE

The Ataija Beige is perhaps the hardest limestone in Portugal. Despite presenting small sized blocks, this is a preferential limestone to be used on street paving, diverse landscaping and similar uses that require a hard and compact limestone. It can also be found on exterior cladding, stonework and much more.
