Rijks Museum flooring with Moleanos Blue limestone

Rijks Museum flooring with Moleanos Blue limestone

The Rijks Museum is a reference museum located in the heart of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The project took a complete renovation to some of its main areas, including main entrance and main hall, which involved the supply of Portuguese Moleanos Blue limestone. The project requested Moleanos Blue tiles for most flooring, but also for main staircases and diverse wall covering applications.

The selection of Moleanos Blue was a mixed type, which was mostly blue but with some regular beige colour tones. The final result was a fantastic project, where the light grey colour of the Moleanos Blue takes very well the natural light that involves the interior of the museum, but also the tradition red brick.
